Art in a Box Project
The project this year is title "Art in a Box." The project theme has been designed around the environment. Children will collaborate with students from partner schools to create dioramas using recycled materials that will be showcased in boxes. These boxes, numbering approximately 400, will then be installed and displayed in a sculptural pavilion designed and manufactured by students of a Design Build class at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
It is an extremely exciting project! The Do Your P'Art program will host a celebration and fundraising event in the installation space on the evening of April 30, during the Merchandise Mart's annual Artropolis show.
